Must have own sewing machine and know the basics of sewing, how to thread a machine, and read through a pattern on their own. This class will require knowledge of stiches, fabric types, pattern notions and fitting.*
We will be teaching fun applications in this class! Learn how to hem with regular stitch and other hidden hem (blind hem) and applications you may not be aware of on your machine (shell tuck, elastic, scallop, and many other stitches). Master the button hole and hidden zipper. You will be allowed to choose from approved projects to work on during class based on the applications we will be covering. Lean everything you need to know about mending and fitting clothes that are too big or too small. You will feel comfortable to grow as a seamstress after completing this course.
