A day of holiday fun will begin at 2 p.m. with a complimentary Christmas ornament craft and storytime with Mrs. Claus from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by holiday stilt walkers spreading Christmas cheer from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. The tree lighting ceremony, “The Magic of Christmas,” will begin at 5:30 p.m. with renowned illusionist Richard Burr. Santa will magically appear during the show and be available afterwards for photos with families. (Customers must bring their own camera).
The tree lighting ceremony will kick off the foundation’s Season of Wishes campaign. From November 19 through December 19, Customer Service and stores at Lake Elsinore Outlets will help raise money for this cause that grants the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions throughout Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. After the tree lighting, there will be a drawing of a Basket of Wishes with prizes for the entire family valued at approximately $500, given away to one winner, according to organizers. The Basket of Wishes, filled with gift cards from Lake Elsinore Outlet stores and other goodies, is available to those who make a donation during the event.
