Gas Price Rises To Highest Amount Since July 23 Near Elsinore

The average price of a gallon of gas is at its highest level in nearly two months, data shows.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose four-tenths of a cent Wednesday to $3.554, its highest amount since July 23.

The average price has risen seven of the past eight days, increasing 1.6 cents, including one-tenth of a cent on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 1.1 cents more than one week ago, 2.5 cents higher than one month ago and 43.6 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 48.1 cents since the start of the year because of higher oil prices.
