Hazardous Spill Prompts Shut Down Of Highway 74 In Lake Elsinore
Both sides of the highway were expected to remain closed for up to one hour.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Both sides of Highway 74 have been shut down at S0uth Main Divide near Lake Elsinore after a hazardous spill Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
The spill was reported around 12 p.m. after a collision involving a sedan and truck, which caused the latter to spill hazardous cargo on Highway 74, also known as Ortega Highway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Riverside County fire crews arrived at the scene to remove empty gas cylinders that fell into the road, authorities said.

No injuries were reported.
