HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS!! The VFW invites you to participate in the Voice of Democracy Audio-Essay Contest!

This year's theme is "My Responsibility to America"

Each year, the Veteran's of Foreign Wars (VFW), sponsors a youth audio-essay competition and gives students an opportunity to compete for scholarship funds. The competition is divided into two age groups (Middle School, called Patriot's Pen) and (High School, called Voice of Democracy). All Entries begin at the Post Level. Post winners advance (1 for every 15 entries) to the VFW District (or Regional) level where the one first place winner is advanced to the VFW Department (state) level. Then, the one first place winner, at State, advances to Nationals (in Washington DC).
