I-15, 91 Freeway Maintenance Planned This Weekend: Lane Closures Announced

Maintenance crews will perform toll road maintenance on State Route 91 and Interstate 15 over the weekend. Pack your patience.

CORONA, CA — Drivers on the I-15 Freeway and SR-91 this weekend will see some added traffic on Sunday, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) shared in a recent announcement. Work on the roadways will occur on Sunday, March 29th, from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"Crews will be conducting routine maintenance that includes sweeping, graffiti removal, and delineation repairs," they said.

According to Caltrans, the planned work will require full toll lane closures on:

  • Southbound I-15 from the Riverside County/San Bernardino County Line, to Cajalco Road
  • Full toll lane closures on the eastbound SR-91 from the Orange County/Riverside County Line to the SR-91/I-15 Interchange.

The moving closure will also be conducted on the #1 lane of both routes with California Highway Patrol Mazeep traffic breaks.

Watch for signage alerting motorists of upcoming maintenance and remember to reduce your speed in and around the work zone.
