Inland Empire Gasoline Price Drops For 24th Time in 25 Days

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped Wednesday for the 23rd consecutive day and the 24th time in 25 days, decreasing 1.6 cents to $3.656.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has dropped 28.5 cents over the past 25 days, including 1.5 cents on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price rose 83.2 cents during the stretch of 29 increases in 30 days that immediately preceded the current run of dropping prices.

The average price is 10.4 cents less than one week ago, 12.8 cents lower than a month ago and 44.2 cents below what it was one year ago.
