It is time that the citizens of Wildomar ask for a moratorium on all new construction in the city until such time as the city council can complete
1. a City of Wildomar General Plan with all the required elements along with an element for Parks, Recreation and Trails. This last element is necessary in order for Wildomar to once again collect Quimby Fees to enhance our park system to serve all of Wildomar, the eastside and Sedco areas included.
2. Updating the Developer Impact Fees (DIF) to reflect the true cost to develop in Wildomar. (Not some number with deflated land values and partial funding of certain elements such as trails, drainage and the transportation system.)
If Wildomar is so desirable then developers should be pay their fair share to build and its time to put the brakes on a city council’s desire to have them build no matter the cost or desires of the existing population.
