Just a suggestion for the Patch

I saw this recently on Menifee 24/7 and I think it(or something similar) would be something that would be nice to have in place on the Patch. This would force bloggers and those who comment to rephrase things more as they are offering opinions rather than presenting facts and make them give links to back up what they are saying. 

I want to also add that the Patch should go to a thumbs up/Thumbs down system like most other sources. And authors of blogs should not be able to delete comments, that should remain with the editor of the Patch.
Additionally there should be a limit on how many times in a week or day and individual can post or blog. 
If the object is to make this a true community resource then that's what it should be.

No anonymous comments are allowed.
