The following is a news release from Sycamore Academy of Science and Cultural Arts:
Sycamore Academy’s K-1 students will host their first Marketplace. Student stores will be open for business May 23 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
It is free to attend; however, to purchase product from this field trip fundraiser, a $5 donation will be accepted. It is open to the public at 32326 Clinton Keith Road.
Students have worked diligently to prepare for this culminating event that will showcase their expertise in math, language arts, social studies, art, science, and health and wellness by operating their own storefronts and community services (i.e. pet shop, snack shop, art store, spa, bakery, fruit stand, toy store, music store, book store, frame shop, plant store, and more.
Student performances will begin at 6 p.m.
