Lake Elsinore Couple Shares 30 Years Together In Business

Ruben and Diana Lopez have been working together in the dry cleaning business for nearly 30 years, but it wasn’t until spring 2008 that they decided to open their Express Dry Cleaners shop in Lake Elsinore.

“We had an eight-year break from the dry cleaning business before opening this shop,” Diana explained.

The couple had been proprietors of dry cleaning business in Anaheim, but they lived in Lake Elsinore.

“(We) wanted to stay local and not have to commute,” she said, so the decision was made to make a go in Lake Elsinore.

“The work is hard and we work long hours,” Diana said, noting that her toil is offset by seeing her loyal customers.

“I look forward to the different customers coming in and visiting with them. Some of our customers are very funny, sweet and nice. They make my day by sharing their stories and laughter,” Diana said.

Express Dry Cleaners offers additional services including alterations, laundry service, suede and leather cleaning, comforter and wedding dress cleaning.

They offer same-day service if needed and accept all major credit cards.
