Lake Elsinore Deputies Investigating Apparent Shooting

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Investigators at the Lake Elsinore Sheriff's Station are looking for information about an apparent shooting Monday night on Lakeshore Drive.

Around 7:30 p.m., deputies responded to a report of possible gunfire in the 500 block of Lakeshore Drive at S. Poe Street. Law enforcement immediately searched for possible victims and/or blood trails but found nothing, according to the station.

There were reports that a vehicle was seen speeding away from the area before deputies arrived, according to the station, but no vehicle description was provided to the public.

"An investigation into this incident has been initiated and is currently underway," the station reported.
