Lake Elsinore Residents Invited to 'Visioning Session'
City officials say the event is part of Lake Elsinore's efforts to develop a long-term, strategic planning document for the City.
The following is an announcement from the city of Lake Elsinore:
On Thursday, February 11, the City Council will kick off its efforts to develop a long-term, strategic planning document for the City. This Dream Extreme 2040 Plan will be the first of its kind for the City.
The plan, prompted by Mayor Brian Tisdale, will seek to identify the City’s key projects and goals over the next 5, 10, 15 and 20 years related to the City’s Vision Statement and key initiatives, which were set in 2013.
The community is urged to attend to hear what is planned in the City over the next 25 years. As part of this process, the City is working on conducting a Community Opinion Survey that will take place some time this year and serve as a benchmark for the plan.
