Lake Elsinore-Wildomar Gasoline Price Rises To Highest Amount Since September

The average price for regular gasoline is $3.787, the highest it's been since Sept. 5.

A increase of three-tenths of a cent Monday pushed the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire to its highest amount since Sept. 5, $3.787.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has risen 24 times in 25 days, increasing 67.8 cents, including seventh-tenths of a cent on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 3.8 cents more than one week ago and 65.5 cents higher than one month ago but 41.9 cents less than one year ago.

Experts attribute the higher prices to a reduced supply caused by problems at refineries that cut production.
