Lake Street Interchange Improvements Underway

From the City of Lake Elsinore: Last month, Castle & Cooke officially kicked off construction on Lake Street Interchange Improvements. The project is tied to Castle & Cooke’s Development Agreements with the City and will improve traffic flows and safety in this part of the City. The project is expected to be completed by fall.

Project Description:

• Northbound & Southbound On/Off-Ramp Traffic Signal Improvements
• Lake Street Lane Widening and Re-striping under Freeway Overpass between Ramps
• Northbound Off-Ramp Widened to Two Lanes
• Lake Street Widening Near I-15 Southbound On-Ramp

Location: Lake Street and Interstate 15
Status: Under Construction
Estimated Construction Start: Late May 2018
Work Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Estimated Construction Completion: September 2018
Project Funding: Project fully funded, initiated and managed by Castle & Cooke in cooperation with the City of Lake Elsinore and Caltrans.
