Lakeland Village Fire, Red Cross Called To Assist

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A weekend fire in Lakeland Village required help from the American Red Cross to assist five people.

The blaze was reported at 3:40 a.m. Sunday in the 19100 block of Samuel Drive, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found a double-wide trailer with heavy fire coming from the back corner of the home, the agency said.

The fire was contained at 4:29 a.m. The Red Cross was requested to assist three adults and two children, according to the agency.
