Man Caught in Lake Elsinore Target Theft, Police Say

Sheriff's officials say the 19-year-old man was caught after stealing from a local Target store.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA – A Rancho Cucamonga teen was nabbed in a recent theft at a local Target store, sheriff's officials say.

According to Sgt. Dan Ponder, the incident was reported on Saturday at the store in the 18000 block of Collier Avenue in Lake Elsinore.

Store staff told police that they had watched a man they believed was committing larceny, and followed him as he ultimately left the store without paying for some items, Ponder said.

Jail records indicated Pomahatch posted $2,500 bail and was released from jail the same day.
