Menifee Seeking Community Input For 215 Freeway-Garbani Road Project

The proposed project is a collaboration with Caltrans, which would improve circulation between communities east and west of the 215 Freeway.

MENIFEE, CA — Local residents were invited to a open house and scope meeting in Menifee next week when city officials will present proposed roadway improvements that will impact travelers on the 215 Freeway.

The city announced on Tuesday the open house and scope meeting for the I-215/Garbani Road Interchange Project will be held July 21 at the Menifee City Council Chambers from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The proposed project is a collaboration with Caltrans, which would improve circulation between communities situated east and west of the 215 Freeway, as well as provide better access to the regional transportation system.

The city said multiple designs of the interchange are under consideration by the City of Menifee and Caltrans.

Construction is expected to begin in 2029.
