Menifee's Proposed Sports Park And Aquatic Center Clears Another Hurdle

MENIFEE, CA — A 17-acre sports park that would be developed in northeast Menifee came closer to reality on Thursday after the Parks, Recreation and Trails Commission unanimously approved a conceptual plan.

The Menifee Valley Sports Park and Aquatic Center would be built near Briggs and Case roads, just south of Homeland.

The proposed park would include two splashpads, 18 pickleball courts with lighting, a 4,810 square-foot junior Olympic pool, an aquatic playground, shaded structures with seating, a community building, and more.

According to the 2026 conceptual plan, the park would support daily recreation, year-round programming, sports competitions and community events.

City officials said the developer, Brookfield Residential, will present construction plans for the city to review.
