Motorcyclist ID'd In Deadly 91 Freeway Crash After Falling Into Path Of Big Rig

The man and his motorcycle fell into the number 5 lane directly in front of the left rear tires of the tractor-trailer, according to the CHP

CORONA, CA – A motorcyclist killed when he fell under the wheels of a big rig on the Riverside (91) Freeway near Corona was identified Sunday as a Riverside man.

The Riverside County coroner's office said 45-year-old Stephen Moore died of head injuries at the scene of the crash that happened about 3:50 p.m. Saturday on the westbound 91, west of Serfas Club Drive, the California Highway Patrol.

Moore was operating his 2015 Yamaha Raider in the number 4 lane at an unknown speed when traffic ahead of him slowed or stopped, the CHP said. Moore apparently swerved right to avoid a collision and lost control of his motorcycle.
