Suspect Sought In Perris Slaying
A 25-year-old was shot to death in a park Wednesday. Authorities now are seeking Renato Ivan Sanchez, 38, deemed "armed and dangerous."

PERRIS, CA — A 38-year-old, "armed and dangerous" parolee, Renato Ivan Sanchez, is wanted by authorities in connection with a fatal shooting Wednesday evening at a Perris park, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said today.
Deputies responded to an assault-with-a-deadly-weapon call at about 6:10 p.m. at Paragon Park, 264 Spectacular Bid St., where Perris resident Jose Eduardo Bellozo, 25, was found suffering from a gunshot would and unconscious on the ground, officials said. Despite life-saving efforts by deputies and medical personnel, Bellozo was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sanchez was identified as a suspect in the homicide, but his whereabouts are unknown, deputies said Friday afternoon.

"The area was searched for Sanchez, however, he remains outstanding," the agency said. "Sanchez is currently on parole and is considered armed and dangerous."
