From what I read in news articles and see on the news - Pit Bulls are the only breed of dogs that are attacking, maiming or killing people and/or other animals. Therefore, I say sterilization is a good start in dealing with this problem. I own 3 small dogs (Maltese, Shih Tzu and a mixed dog of Poodle and Shih Tzu), they have their shots, have microchips, are licensed and most importantly... are sterilized! I also have a strong protective fence with locked gates. I love my dogs, take good care of them and keep them safe in my home.
