Operation Prom Girl To Shine As A Year-Round Program

Operation Prom Girl is an organization that provides free prom dresses, formal gowns and much more to females who have financial hardships or special circumstances that make it difficult to attend their formal event or special occasion.

Established in January, 2015 in the Inland Empire, Southern California, Operation Prom Girl quickly became a means for high school girls who fit the criteria to obtain a dress and other assistance to attend their special prom day. We have an annual event for high school girls that features a fashion show, powerful speakers, a luncheon , prizes, dresses and much more.

Today, Operation Prom Girl continues to grow rapidly and now serves military women and others who have a need for not only a free dress, but we also offer fancy shoes, accessories, hair and makeup services, photography, and of course, resources and referrals to assist women of all ages to walk bold and triumphantly in their roles as beautiful women who can be successful in their roles despite any challenges that they may have experienced.

Operation Prom Girl is much more than just a dress, it is an experience. As the need grows, we continue to partner with an eager and supportive community as well as organizations whose focus is on women being successful and living to their fullest capacity in mind, body, spirit, and life/career.

As we continue to establish our roots, we realize the need for our outreaches services in areas beyond the Riverside County area and our vision is to grow so that we leave no woman of any age lacking our many services. We are seeking solid, joyful volunteers with willing hearts as well as internship opportunities. We operate solely on community support and collect dresses, fancy shoes, accessories, makeup year-round and have drop- off locations for donations.
