Ortega Highway Crash Leaves Motorcyclist Seriously Injured
The crash involved the motorcyclist and another vehicle.
LAKE ELSINORE, CA — The California Highway Patrol was continuing to investigate a weekend crash on Ortega Highway that left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.
The crash involving the motorcyclist and a second vehicle was reported at 3:21 p.m. Saturday, southwest of El Cariso, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
The motorcyclist sustained major injuries, while the driver of the other vehicle sustained moderate injuries, the fire department reported.

The two victims were sent to a local hospital — the motorcyclist by air ambulance, and the other driver by ground ambulance.
No other injuries were reported.
