Parade, Classic Planes, Parachutists Scheduled for Veterans Air Show
It's time for Flabob Airport's 14th annual Veterans Day Celebration and Air Show!

JURUPA VALLEY, CA - Flybys, skydiving acts, a parade and other entertainment are scheduled Saturday for Flabob Airport's 14th annual Veterans Day Celebration and Air Show.
The affair, slated to get underway about 9 a.m., is expected to draw up to 2,000 spectators.
The Golden Stars Skydiving Team will make a drop over the airfield to start things off, after which pilots at the controls of World War II-era warbirds will make a series of passes before putting their aircraft on static display for visitors to see up-close throughout the day, according to organizers.

A veterans parade, complete with bagpipers, will be held on the tarmac, with tributes paid to vets from all overseas wars.
Cowboy re-enactors will put on an Old West gunfight, and members of a martial arts group will showcase their skills.

There will be military armaments, vintage automobiles, motorcycles and tractors set up for enthusiasts to check out. Plane rides will also be available for attendees interested in a bird's eye view of the Riverside metropolitan area.
Food booths, a "kids zone" and outdoor music will be part of the entertainment, as well, organizers said.
Festivities will wrap up at about 4 p.m.
