Riverside County Sheriff's Department Announces Big Hiring Event
Department employees will be on-site to provide career information and assist anyone interested in law enforcement.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A Riverside County Sheriff's Department recruitment drive to fill multiple sworn and non-sworn positions will be held next month, and officials said that applicants who meet initial criteria can expect to begin the background check process within a day or two.
"Department employees will be on-site to provide career information and assist anyone interested in law enforcement and all current career openings within the department, including deputy sheriff trainee, correctional deputy and 911 dispatcher," according to an agency statement.
The "Career Fair & Expedited Hiring Event" is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 26 at the Ben Clark Public Safety Training Center, 16791 Davis Ave., Riverside.

Staff from different units will be on hand to share details regarding SWAT, K-9 patrol, the aviation unit and dive team opportunities, officials said.
Those prospects who are ready to proceed with meeting baseline qualifications will be invited to take written exams and go through physical agility tests on the spot.

"Applicants passing both can begin the background check process in one day," according to the sheriff's department.
Pre-registration for the event is now open at www.JoinRSD.org. However, interested parties are also welcome to attend without registering.
