Juvenile Arrested For Alleged Assault Of Sister In Murrieta

The girl was transported to a hospital with "significant" injuries, police said.

MURRIETA, CA – A juvenile male was arrested for allegedly attacking and injuring his younger sister Wednesday night on the 24800 block of Hancock Avenue in Murrieta, according to authorities.

The Murrieta Police Department responded at about 8:50 p.m. to an emergency call of a female juvenile suffering "significant injuries," the agency said. The girl was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.

Investigators determined the minor was injured by her older brother, who subsequently was placed under arrest for the suspected assault, police said.
