Update On Search For Missing Riverside County Teen

A man who went missing from Corona was found safe Monday, but the search for a teen girl last seen in Moreno Valley continued.

AUG. 31, 2021 UPDATE: Rubi Cantellano was found Aug. 31 in Highland, the sheriff's department reported. No other details were provided.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A search for two Riverside County residents who went missing over the weekend continued Monday, and police report one of them was found safe.

The two missing people reports are not related.

Corona police Monday asked the public for help locating a 75-year-old man who went missing.

Luis Fuentes Jr. was last seen about 3 p.m. Sunday in the vicinity of Fullerton Avenue and Foothill Parkway in Corona.

Late Monday morning, Corona police reported that Fuentes was found.

A teen girl went missing out of Moreno Valley over the weekend, and the Riverside County Sheriff's Department is still seeking the public's help in finding her.

Rubi Cantellano, 16, was last seen around 6 p.m. Saturday in the 15000 block of Perris Boulevard in Moreno Valley, the sheriff's department said.

She is described as Hispanic, 5-feet, 3-inches tall; weighing 130 pounds; with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, ripped blue jeans, and blue and white Nike high-top sneakers.
