Smoke Possible Near Lake Elsinore, Wildomar: Fire Crews Train
Smoke may be visible throughout the week at various times, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., west of Southwest Riverside County.
SOUTHWEST RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The Camp Pendleton Fire Department is hosting its annual Fire School aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton this week, and part of the training includes exercises through Friday.
As a result, smoke may be visible throughout the week at various times, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., west of Southwest Riverside County (in the northern, northeastern, and center areas of base) and near Bonsall and Fallbrook.
Participating fire departments include Orange County Fire Authority, California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Los Angeles Fire Department, Glendale Fire Department, Brea Fire Department, San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, Miramar Fire Department, Carlsbad Fire Department, California'sOffice of Emergency Services, San Marcos Fire Department, Oceanside Fire Department, and Rancho Santa Fe Fire Protection District, according to base officials.
