Sprouts Farmers Market Planned For Wildomar
The grocery chain is eyeing the proposed Wildomar Crossroads center at the northwest corner of Wildomar Trail and Clinton Keith Road.

WILDOMAR, CA — A Wildomar Sprouts Farmers Market is in the works — so are eateries and apartments.
According to the Oct. 19 Wildomar Planning Commission meeting agenda, commissioners will weigh plans for the Wildomar Crossroads mixed-use project at the northwest corner of Wildomar Trail and Clinton Keith Road that is slated to include a 23,104-square-foot Sprouts Farmers Market.
The Phoenix, Arizona-based grocery chain's stores feature a wide selection of produce, including organic, as well as meats, cheeses, baked goods and some traditional supermarket items. The Wildomar store is also proposing to sell alcohol.

The Wildomar Crossroads retail center would span 34,540 square feet, with Sprouts as the anchor.

Other retailers, a drive-thru coffee shop and a fast-food restaurant are also slated for the center, although those tenants were not formally identified.
A gated 150-unit apartment project is also planned on the 9-acre Wildomar Crossroads center site.
Truck deliveries for the center would be on the north side of the building, about 200 feet west of Wildomar Trail. The dock area would be screened by a 6-foot-tall block wall on the north side. The wall would "block and obscure the view" from southbound traffic on Wildomar Trail, according to city documents.
The proposed architectural design for the center is "Farm Chic," according to the city.
The city estimates developer fees on the project would tally approximately $4,935,000.
During the 6:30 p.m. Oct. 19 meeting, planning commissioners will weigh environmental concerns, as well as other agenda items pertaining to the proposal. A public hearing will be held to allow community members to voice their thoughts about the proposal. The project applicants are Intracorp Inc. and Sage Investco Inc.
