Storm Baseball Hosts Blood Drive With Special Gifts For Donors

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A blood drive is planned from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 20, at Lake Elsinore Storm Stadium.

Lake Elsinore Storm Baseball is hosting the blood drive, coordinating with the San Diego Blood Bank and the Southern California Blood Bank.

All donors will receive a limited edition Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy t-shirt, a pair of Lake Elsinore Storm tickets and a Storm hat while supplies last, and subject to availability.

Advanced appointments have filled up, however walk-ins are always welcome, organizers said.

• Before you schedule, please read the information on blood donation requirements.
• They encourage first-time donors to give whole blood. Please arrive hydrated and feeling well, and bring a physical photo ID with you. Masks are optional for donors and staff.
• Please allow an hour for your entire donation process.
