Storm Tribute To Charlie Sheen Proves Heavy Hitter
More than 5,000 fans celebrated Cinco de Mayo with the Storm at The Diamond in Lake Elsinore.
The Storm may have lost on the field, but the sellout crowd of 5,083 fans who came to celebrate Charlie Sheen-co De Mayo Night at The Diamond proved a box office winner.
Fans in attendance received “Wild Thing” glasses worn by Sheen’s character Ricky Vaughn in the movie "Major League." Other promotions were a taco eating contest, and Sheen’s 99 number being retired and placed on the right field wall.
In anticipation of an appearance by Charlie Sheen, the fans were teased with a limo being driven onto the field. When the Limo door opened, out popped the most popular Storm member: Thunder.
