Suspect Identified, Arrested in Temescal Valley Murder: Sheriff's Department
The man was nabbed in Riverside, according to sheriff's officials.

TEMESCAL VALLEY, CA – Sheriff's officials from the Lake Elsinore station say they've arrested a suspect in the murder of a Long Beach man whose body was discovered last week in the Temescal Valley area.
According to Sheriff's Sgt. Walter, Mendez, 35-year-old Dante Danil Carter was arrested over the weekend in Riverside on suspicion of the murder of Eric Thomas Burniston.
"Carter was taken into custody without incident and was later booked into custody at the Robert Presley Detention Center," he said.

Details in the case are extremely limited at this point. Officials have not provided a cause of death for Burnison, other than saying he suffered "traumatic injuries."
A possible motive is also unknown at this point.

Jail records indicate Carter was booked on $1 million bail and that he's due in court on Wednesday.
