MEAD VALLEY, CA — A teenager on a four-wheel off-road vehicle was injured Sunday in a collision with a car in the Mead Valley community northwest of Perris.

The crash was reported at 7:09 p.m. Sunday at 18340 Carroll St., between Nance and Bailly streets, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A witness told the CHP the car was on top of the quad vehicle.

There was no immediate word on the extent of the teenager's injuries, and a description of the person was not available.
