Teens Arrested For Deadly Shooting of Man at Temescal Valley House Party

The two teenagers are accused in the March 6 shooting death, according to police.

TEMESCAL VALLEY, CA- Two young men are in custody in connection with a fatal house party shooting in early March in Temescal Valley, the sheriff's department reported Tuesday.

Sheldon Bruce, 18, of Rialto, and Marcus Eugene, 19, of San Bernardino, are accused in the March 6 shooting death of 23-year-old Antonio Williams, said sheriff's Sgt. Raymond Huskey.

The San Bernardino resident died at Corona Regional Medical Center at 12:55 a.m. He was taken to the hospital by a friend after being shot around 12:10 a.m. at a house in the 8100 block of Sunset Rose Drive, Huskey said.

When deputies arrived in response to reports of gunfire, they learned Williams had already been taken to the hospital, he said.

According to the sergeant, Bruce and Eugene were identified as suspects following an investigation that included a series of search warrants and interviews conducted by Central Homicide Unit investigators and the Interregional Apprehension Team.

Deputies arrested Bruce three days after the shooting at his home. Eugene fled to Phoenix, Arizona, where he was apprehended on Monday, Huskey said.
