Just got back from looking at the ugly old fence surrounding Windsong Park.
It looks like the hooligans that couldn’t get into Brazil for the soccer matches showed up in Wildomar and turned the ugly fence into a trampoline.
Just maybe if someone had left the top rail in place this damage would not have occurred. Maybe they needed the rail back at the dog park.
If the City of Wildomar quit dragging its feet, which they have been doing since February, and implement the security measures that were promised before this fence is removed this would not be a problem.
What was promised?
One citizen has reminded the council on numerous occasions what these measures were. Security cameras, motion sensored lights in the gazebos, and increased security patrols are all on the list.
So far all we get are “we are looking into it” which leaves the city council unable to vote on removing that ugly old fence.
