Thousands Trunk-Or-Treat Through Lake Elsinore's Main Street In 2022

Lake Elsinore merchants and residents poured out the candy and goodwill toward area kids last week with the city's annual Halloween event.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Friday, Main Street businesses pulled out all the stops for the annual Trunk-Or-Treat party in Old Town Lake Elsinore.

Approximately 60 decorated trunks were decked out for the event, offering candy for more than 6,000 trick-or-treaters. Multiple food trucks and vendors offered delicious treats and merchandise for families there for the event, according to a city spokesperson.

Shopkeepers got into the decor this year, and Disney themes ruled the evening with "Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Encanto" among the most visited spots for picture-posing.

Families brought the kids in full costumes to enjoy the festivities, music, and food at the event that rings in the Halloween season.

"The City purchased and distributed over 36,000 pieces of candy, one of our highest amounts to date," spokesperson Melissa Veliz told Patch.

Businesses and groups that were involved in the passing out of candy included Target, TLC Group Services, Guadalajara's, Grumps Garage, McFly's, Main St Candy Store, Riveria Towing, Century21, Oscar Tortola Realty Team, Cochren Realty, Guardian Plumbing, LEUSD, & CR&R, according to Veliz.
