Two Menifee Homes Catch Fire, Firefighter Injured
Fire officials say the fire spread from one home to the other.
MENIFEE, CA- A Riverside County firefighter was injured while combating a weekend house fire that spread to a neighboring home, the Riverside County Fire Department said.
Firefighters arrived at 8:41 p.m. Saturday to a garage on fire at a two- story home in the 29000 block of Bay View Way in Menifee. The fire spread to a single-story home next door, said April Newman of the Riverside County Fire Department.
One firefighter sustained “minor burn injuries and heat related illness” and was taken to a hospital, Newman said.

Both fires were contained to the homes’ garages by 9:20 p.m.
