“I brought the little ones out here to enjoy the parade and see what the community is about,” Cruz said, who had two daughters walking in the parade. “My kids always participate in the parade ... this year my [two] daughters were crowned royalty of Lake Elsinore.
“It’s bonding time and it’s good for the little ones,” she added.
New Lake Elsinore resident Manuel Nava, 28, moved from Orange County about two months ago. He brought his family out to the parade to see what it had to offer.
“This is the first year out here for the parade ... it’s great,” Nava said, who was joined by his son and nieces. “They are loving it. Definitely [will] be here next year.”
