The City of Lake Elsinore in 2014 unveiled its Veterans Memorial in the main entryway of Diamond Stadium with two monument areas.
The upper memorial area is a large, custom premium black granite monument etched with the depiction of a soldier in front of a fallen soldier’s battlefield grave, the city said. The grave is marked by the rifle, helmet, dog tags and the boots of a fallen soldier. This has become a well-known symbol of respect and honor those lost in battle and is a practice that dates back to the American Civil War.

"The City of Lake Elsinore Veterans Memorial Brick Program is a great way to honor a special veteran in your life by engraving a brick with their name, rank and/or years of service," the city said.
