Here's when the worst will hit, so you can time your outdoor plans.

High winds are expected to hit the Inland Empire Tuesday, with some of the strongest gusts moving through the San Gorgonio Pass and San Jacinto Valley.
The National Weather Service issued a high-wind warning today, advising residents to prepare for potentially dangerous activity beginning at 5 a.m. Tuesday, and continuing through Tuesday night, said James Thomas, a meteorologist with the agency’s San Diego office.
Sustained winds of between 20 and 30 miles per hour are expected, along with gusts as high as 60 miles per hour.

The advisory warns motorists to be on the lookout for broken tree limbs and other debris on roadways. Also, drivers of high-profile vehicles, like tractor-trailer trucks, should be aware of the danger of tipping over.
Strong winds also are expected in remote parts of the Coachella Valley, including the northeastern area around Dillon Road, Thomas said.
