When Your Pup Gets Stuck Under Cement Patio, Who You Gonna Call?

PERRIS, CA — When a Perris family's pooch somehow managed to get lodged underneath their concrete patio — eight to nine feet back from the house, no less — it was CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department to the rescue.

Crews responded Monday afternoon to a residence on Warbonnett Drive and went to work to free the little doggie.

"After carefully cutting a section out of the patio, firefighters were able to safely remove the dog from underneath and return him to his family," the agency said.
