RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The California Highway Patrol is looking for the driver of a Silver Honda Accord who struck and killed a Perris woman on state Route 74 Wednesday evening but fled the scene.

At approximately 5:50 p.m., Diana Aguirre, 34, was walking south at the highway's intersection with Ethanac Road when she was struck by the sedan, according to the CHP.

The unidentified driver, believed to be a male, kept traveling westbound on SR-74 despite Aguirre being "thrown up into the Honda Accord's windshield," the CHP said.
