Wednesday Night the City of Wildomar elevated another small group of individuals to special status without any idea of why.
The decision to allow the POW/MIA flag to be flown over the local Community Cemetery on a daily basis was made without any regard to the disenfranchisement of the vast majority of servicemen of the United States Armed Forces who fought in the numerous engagements waged by this country over the years.
The decision was made not because they believe in the symbol but because of the vehemence toward one individual who has poked fun at each and everyone of the current members for their contempt towards the majority of the citizens of Wildomar.
The federal government who has also fallen into the trap of this small group has mandated the flag officially be flown on 6 days whereas the Wildomar City Council apparently doesn’t want its staff to have remember which days to fly it therefore directed that it be flown every day.
Before you jump down my throat about this item let it be known that I was one of the volunteered in the conflict this flag represents, my father killed in this conflict, friends and neighbors died in this conflict.
