Wildomar Cleanup Day Offers Residents A Chance To Purge Junk

WILDOMAR, CA — Two bulky waste drop-off events will take place Saturday in Wildomar, and it's an opportunity for residents to get rid of old or broken items like furniture, electronic devices and appliances — free of charge.

The two Nov. 6 events are scheduled:

Elsinore High School, 21800 Canyon Drive, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (for Wildomar residents west of Interstate 15)

Ronald Reagan Elementary School, 35445 Porras Road, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (for Wildomar residents east of Interstate 15)

Proof of Wildomar residency is required at the events. Due to COVID-19, attendees will be required to unload their vehicles without assistance.

While hazardous materials like old batteries, paint, and used motor oil will not be accepted at the Wildomar events, there is a permanent household waste drop-off facility in Lake Elsinore at 512 North Langstaff Street.

The Lake Elsinore facility's operating hours are:
October - May: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
June - September: 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The Lake Elsinore facility's 2021 operating dates are:
02/06/21, 03/06/21, 04/03/21, 05/01/21, 06/05/21, 07/10/21, 08/07/21, 09/11/21, 10/02/21, 11/06/21, 12/04/21
