Wildomar Competing In 2026 MilVet Battle Of The Cities Challenge

WILDOMAR, CA — Officials are encouraging Wildomar residents to donate items to deployed troops as the city participates in the 2026 MilVet Battle of the Cities competition.

The city announced on Monday it is competing in the nonprofit's annual Battle of the Cities military care package challenge.

Wildomar is one of several cities in southwest Riverside County that are participating in the competition, including Temecula, Menifee and Murrieta. Residents can help Wildomar win by donating items between Oct. 17 and Nov. 1, the city said.

Donated items can include snacks, nutritious foods, drinks and hygiene supplies, the city said.

The city said acceptable items can be dropped off at city hall or mailed directly through Amazon. Senders were reminded to include "Wildomar" in the comments of the package in order for the city to receive credit.
