Wildomar Dishes On Turkey Giveaway At Elks Lodge For 2024
With the city's help, over 1,000 Lake Elsinore and Wildomar families in need will receive turkey and other food items this holiday season.
WILDOMAR, CA — The Wildomar City Council and Holt Ministries are expected to partner in the 2024 Turkey Giveaway project, according to the council's agenda. This year's giveaway was slated to take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 23 at the Wildomar Elks Lodge, #2591.
"The event will facilitate 1,000 families with the Elsinore and Wildomar communities," according to a discussion on the Turkey Giveaway event. Wildomar's community services department will also assist with the giveaway.
Organizers say approximately 14 vehicles will be served at a time during the four-hour event.

Slated to be a drive-through event, participants will be directed to reach the Elks Lodge by starting at the back parking lot of St. Frances of Rome from Majonnier Way, according to the plan. From there, participants will be directed to drive west on Waite Street and enter the Elks Lodge parking lot.
According to the agenda item, the ministry will pay for the temporary permit, while the city will assist with providing signboards and delineators and designate the route for turkey recipients.
