“The main goal of this project is to encourage kids to take a stand against drinking and driving,” Grant said. “But we also have the decision of the dad: to put aside his pride and listen to hisson. Both father and son are faced with tough decisions, and that is lot to convey in short amount of time.”

The emotional, high-impact video is barely more than two minutes long and was a major community effort with support from the City of Murrieta, Murrieta Police and Fire departments, American Medical Response (AMR), and the Murrieta Unified School District, as well as local businesses and residents.

“We are proud to have been recognized for our work on this production,” Grant said. "It is a very emotional and rewarding project that we could not have pulled off without the support of the local community and Debbie’s dedication to reaching local high school students.”

Debbie Breslin, one of the founders of Tiffany’s Gift, developed the original concept and was the driving force behind the project. Tiffany’s Gift is a 501(c)3 that was created to raise awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving after their daughter, Tiffany, was killed by a drinking boater in 2008.

“This project was very near and dear to my heart,” Breslin said. “If we can help prevent even just one family from going through what we have endured, then this is a success.”
