WILDOMAR GETTING READY TO SWING THE HAMMER

Wednesday Night September 11th the Wildomar City Council will be taking the first swing of the hammer driving a stake thru the heart of Wildomar. They will be having the first reading of an ordinance establishing a City Wide Mellos Roos (Community Facilities Distric), the same type of district the voter rejected when asked to fund parks with Measure D. This CFD is reportedly going to bring in almost $50,000 dollars to the coffers of the city. What they fail to mention is this 50K will be used to repay the Municipal Bonds that are issued to finance the developers infrastructure cost along with administrative fees leaving virtually nothing for city services for the next 20 years, but wait it gets better, this fee will continue into perpetuity. Along with this Mello Roos is a guarantee that locks in the current $4,421/Dwelling Unit Developer Impact Fee paid to the city just before discussions resume to raise these fees to around $8,000.00.
