Wildomar Man Found Shot In Lake Elsinore Dies From Injuries

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A Wildomar man found shot in Lake Elsinore has died from his injuries, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department reported Monday.

Blake Paine, 19, was found Sunday around 4:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Riley Street in Lake Elsinore. He "appeared to have been shot," according to the sheriff's department.

He was hospitalized but died from his injuries, the department reported.

Homicide investigators with the sheriff's department took over the case. A possible motive for the killing has not been disclosed and no arrests were immediately announced.
